Dr. Akemi Kaushik, DPT is a dedicated healthcare professional with a profound passion for women's health and pelvic rehabilitation. With a decade of experience in various domains of physical therapy, she has cultivated a profound understanding of the intricacies of healthcare. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College in New York, a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence. She is not just a clinician; she is someone who embarked on a personal journey through the challenges of pre and postpartum back injuries. This journey served as a catalyst, propelling her toward her true calling—specializing in pelvic rehabilitation. Motivated by her own experiences and empowered by her expertise, she aspires to guide others on a similar path to restoration and recovery.
With specialized certification in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercises, She provides comprehensive treatments designed to restore balance, both inside and outside. She firmly believes in the power of knowledge and self-awareness, embracing the motto "women who know better, do better," drawing from her own transformative postpartum journey.
Away from the demanding realm of patient care she finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. She is an avid enthusiast of cooking and yoga. Family holds a significant place in her heart, and she cherishes spending quality time with her husband and their lively, active daughter.

Yalda Mendoza
Founder & CFO
Dr. Yalda Mendoza, PT, DPT, is a dedicated professional with a background in Physical Therapy and Exercise Science. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Fresno State, showcasing her commitment to the field and her passion for healthcare.

Having lived in Fresno for over 25 years, Dr. Mendoza possesses a deep understanding of the healthcare challenges faced by the Central Valley community. Through her experiences in various healthcare settings, she gained valuable insights into these challenges, particularly recognizing the lack of services for Women’s Health.

Driven by her observations and a desire to address this gap in healthcare, she discovered her calling in pelvic rehabilitation. As a mother of two, Dr. Mendoza's personal experiences and interactions with women in her community highlighted the critical need for education and dispelling misconceptions surrounding pelvic dysfunction. Her mission is to educate and empower women through pelvic floor physical therapy.

Dr. Mendoza firmly believes in providing individualized care to every patient, recognizing that each person has unique needs and goals. She adopts an integrative and holistic treatment approach, drawing from both her professional expertise and personal life experiences to help patients restore function and achieve their individual objectives.

She's an avid reader, often finding herself immersed in captivating books, even if it means sacrificing some sleep to finish a compelling story.
